Event: Bharat Bandh

I believe I am still immature to understand the working of bandh. I still wonder how does it works.

31st May 2012 the bandh was in to protest the hike in petrol prices. In order to make this Bharat bandh successful many political parties participated, They came on road protested And the most usual way of these political parties to protest is to destroy the public property. Once they destroy public property their protest is successful. Accept petrol pumps all other business were participating in the protest. Instead of using public transport to support the protest we exactly did the opposite. Every city without fail set public buses on fire and made sure some or the other way they are destroyed.Long distance trains were halted in between.The government did not suffer but the MANGO people did.  A one day holiday for all of us. How does it affect the government. Everything back to normal. People back on their routine. Definitely discussing in over crowded trains about the Bandh the difficulties they faced the other day. Discuss, Discussions,Discussing that's all we do.
